Who is SICL?

Spice Island Corp. Ltd. is an international commodity trading company based in London, England.

We are committed to sourcing commodities from Indonesia and other south-east Asian countries based on sustainable and ethical farming practices. Our developing portfolio focuses on plantation crops, spices and essential oils.

Our current focus is on green coffee beans, spices and essential oils, sourced from processing partners in Java, Flores and across the Indonesian archipelago.

We arrange Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LCL) shipments, with LCL sharing space with other cargo. We assist customers from order confirmation to container arrival, including phytosanitary requirements, customs documentation and shipping logistics.

Meet our Managing Director

Alice Sahertian

Alice’s understanding of international trade stems from her upbringing and close relationship with her father, a prominent figure in shipping and international trade in Indonesia.

Inspired by her father’s entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to excellence, Alice developed a keen interest in global commerce. During her earlier career in the City of London, she developed skills in people management, finance, sales and business development.

She has since immersed herself in commodity trading, developing her knowledge of negotiation, relationship building and strategic decision-making. With a proactive mindset and collaborative approach, she guides SICL through the changing world of international trade.
